Drumbro is a rhythm game played by feel.

How to play

• Tap the drum on the main menu to start a new run.
• Each round, your iPhone plays a short rhythm using sound and the Taptic Engine.
• When the screen reads Your turn, tap the drum once for every beat in the pattern.
• Each tap is rated by precision: Perfect (under 90 ms), Good (under 200 ms), Off-beat (under 380 ms).
• Pass a level to advance. Three lives per run.

I don't feel any vibrations

Haptics need an iPhone with a Taptic Engine, which means iPhone 8 or later. Some other things to check:

• Open Drumbro Settings (gear icon on the main menu) and confirm the Haptics toggle is on.
• iOS Settings ▸ Sounds & Haptics ▸ make sure System Haptics is enabled.
• Low Power Mode can disable haptics. Turn it off temporarily.
• The Taptic Engine can be interrupted by an incoming call or system alert. Background and re-foreground the app to recover.

If your device doesn't support the Taptic Engine, Drumbro plays the same patterns with sound and on-screen pulses instead.

I don't hear any sound

• Drumbro respects the iPhone silent switch. Flip it on the side of the phone to unmute.
• Open Drumbro Settings and confirm the Sound toggle is on.
• The volume buttons control media volume while Drumbro is open. Turn the volume up.
• If another app is using the audio session in a way that locks Drumbro out, force-quit that app and relaunch Drumbro.

How do I reset my high score?

Settings ▸ Reset high score. Confirm the alert.

How do I see the tutorial again?

From the main menu, tap the Tutorial button at the bottom. Or open Settings ▸ Replay tutorial.

How do I quit a run mid-level?

Tap the pause icon in the top-left of the game screen. The pause overlay has a Quit button that returns you to the main menu after a confirmation alert.

What happens if I get a phone call mid-game?

The Taptic Engine and audio engine stop automatically when the app is interrupted. The current run pauses. Tap Resume on the pause screen, or Quit if you'd rather start over.

Does Drumbro track me or use my data?

No. The app does not connect to the internet. It stores your high score, best level, tutorial flag, and settings on your device only. See the privacy policy for details.

App Clip

Drumbro has an App Clip that lets anyone with an iPhone play one round of a chosen rhythm without installing the full app. Tap one of the links on the home page on an iPhone running iOS 14 or later to try it.
